Pleasure Awaits by the Sea: How the Ocean Restores Mind, Body, and Spirit . Today’s fortune carries a peaceful and refreshing energy: “Pleasure awaits you by the seashore.” Whether or not you live near the coast, this message invites you to reconnect with the natural rhythm of life – the calm, healing power of water, and the simple joys that restore your sense of balance.

The ocean has long been a symbol of renewal. Its waves remind us to let go of stress, to breathe deeply, and to allow life to ebb and flow without resistance. The “pleasure” your fortune speaks of may not be only physical relaxation, but emotional and spiritual refreshment – the kind that comes when you slow down and listen to your own inner tides.

Spiritually, this fortune represents cleansing, emotional release, and flow. The sea is nature’s most powerful healer, washing away energetic heaviness and replenishing our spirit with serenity. To be “by the seashore” is to stand between two worlds – earth and water, stability and emotion, logic and intuition. It’s a reminder to ground yourself while staying open to your feelings and imagination.

The ocean’s vastness also mirrors the soul’s infinite depth. When you connect with it – literally or symbolically – you align with the universe’s rhythm of abundance and renewal. Your fortune is inviting you to embrace this natural pleasure: walk barefoot in the sand, meditate to ocean sounds, or simply visualize the waves cleansing your energy. The sea’s wisdom says, peace is always waiting when you pause to receive it.

So, take this as a sign to give yourself permission to relax and reconnect with joy. Plan that beach day, take a sunset walk, or bring the ocean to you through mindful moments of stillness. The universe is offering you a gentle reminder: pleasure, peace, and purpose are waiting just beyond the shoreline of your everyday routine.

As for me …
Lucky for me I live by the West Coast, right off Lake Washington and not too far from the Pacific Ocean. Over the summer when I was really stressed, I would take a walk along the waters edge to just take in the sounds and let the tides help clear my mind. It was calming and relaxing, and helped me to rest assure that all the chaos happening in my life – shall pass. It was natures way of releasing me from all the unnecessary stress.

When I was in my early teens my dad gave me a silver dollar dated 1972, along with a taped date of October 18 1972 to it, which was the day he got sobber. He also gave me a piece of paper with the Serenity Prayer, telling me that if I want to live a happy and peaceful life, to just remember the words of the prayer as it will help me surrender what’s beyond my control while taking responsibility for what I can influence.

This is how I try to live my life everyday. This is my mantra – the words I repeat when I am stressed. The words I would repeat while walking along the waters edge.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference”
