There was a time in my life when everything was all about GOING and DOING – no time to think, no time rest, no time to regroup. Because if I did, the next question was “what are you doing, there’s so much work to be done around here.” And because of that, there came a point when all the stuff that I once truly enjoyed doing – I absolutely couldn’t stand anymore. Everything I was once passionate about – I was over and done with.
Fast forward to today – now that I’m no longer GOING and DOING everything, I’m more at ease with myself. And the time away has given me the opportunity to pause, breathe, and simply be – which has let me reclaim a piece of my power back. A couple years ago I heard this simple formula – one that I now live my life by – its:
