Doing something different is what I’ve said YES to this weekend. I’ll be getting out of my comfort zone and walking 5 miles and then joining a protest against our government.
First I’ll be joining the Making Strides Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness in Seattle on Saturday. Walking for awareness is important to me seeing I know a few people who’ve had breast cancer: a couple of my lady friends are currently living their lives to the fullest – in total remission. And sadly one of my good friends passed away after fighting her breast cancer for years – thinking she had beat it, and then it spread like wildfire throughout her body. CANCER SUCKS – no matter what type you have.
After the walk I’ll be joining The NO KINGS protest, standing up against the Fascism and Authoritarianism in this Administration. Because I guarantee you some of this administrations policies WILL AFFECT YOU one way or another.
